It has been 17 days since Donald J. Trump took office as the 47th President of the United States. Still dumbfounding to me is how a man with 34 felony convictions would still be allowed by the Supreme Court of the United States to take the most powerful office in the world. For the past 17 days, Americans have witnessed the fury of Mr. Trump’s sadistic, narcissistic retaliation against anyone, yes, ANYONE, who shone a negative light on him. At just 17 days into his 4-year term, we have witnessed unqualified, biased nominee after nominee be confirmed by the spineless Republicans of the United States Senate. This past weekend, things turned even darker.
Elon Musk and his army of 25-year-old tech cronies showed up at the offices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The role of USAID in supporting un- and under-developed nations, in-turn protecting the United States be preventing our adversaries from garnering favorable support from those areas. They also help our economical development by aiding farmers in moving commodities to those who need it most. Musk and his gang effectively stopped all of these processes dead in their tracks. And, they did not stop there.
The gang next moved on to the United States Treasury where the were essentially welcomed into the building with no resistance. They were then able to gain access to treasure troves of personal information on government employees and American citizens; information which could cause irreparable harm to everyone whose data was compromised should Musk and his gang of delinquents decide to sell that information to places such as dark web organizations. It is absolutely astonishing to me that no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, in the United States Government put up any kind of resistance against these clowns. The Republican Party is on its way into a deep, dark, fiery hell.
