Trying to Catch Up on Two Weeks of Bullshit

I cannot believe it has been nearly two weeks since my last post. I had no idea time had moved by that quickly, but here we are! A lot has happened over the past two weeks and I will try better to keep my thoughts up within a few days. Otherwise, they may just crazily bounce around inside my head until they are forgotten.

I feel like my biggest concern over the past two weeks, being a retired member of the U.S. Air Force and having been a First Sergeant for the last five of my 24 years of service, is the way in which the Trump administration has effectively cut the head off of the one area our nation should have faith in stopping his warpath to oligarchy. When Mr. Trump (I will NEVER refer to him again as President) fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), General CQ Brown, it was not a DEI cut. It was a pre-meditated, calculated dismissal of likely his biggest critic in the military. I am inclined to think that General Brown may have mentioned to Trump about the ramifications of violating the Constitution, but that is pure speculation on my part.

Not only did Trump fire the CJCS, he fired the first woman put in charge of naval operations, Admiral Lisa Marie Franchetti. That move was absolutely a DEI firing, but it also could have been a move to cover up other issues. He then moved on to fire the to Judge Advocate Generals (JAG) for each branch. This move, “to remove roadblocks for the administration” was clearly a strategic move my Trump to prevent any discourse from the JAGs regarding the violation of the Constitution. This, I fear, opens the door for Trump to start issuing orders to the military that should not be followed. Will the military follow the unethical and illegal orders of Trump? We shall see. With a 3-star, unqualified General slated to take over the Joint Chiefs, a thumb to the nose of those who have worked hard to get where they are in the military, I am afraid anything can happen. Meritocracy you say, oh Sneaky Pete Hagseth? Heh. This move has solidified my thoughts of, “Yeah, ok. Whatever you clowns.”

The last thought that has been going through my head over the past couple of weeks is the wonderment of how we have not found Trump and his administration to be declared as a domestic terrorist organization operating right in front of our eyes. Terrorists use unlawful violence (hello January 6, 2020) and intimidation (hello federal worker firings, threats to the State of Maine, open threats to those who will not obey Trump, etc.) to further their political aims. So, am I wrong to feel that Trump is, without a doubt, a domestic terrorist? And, what about his supporting cast, especially Elon Musk? I feel his whole administration should be apprehended and jailed for the terrorism they have wreaked upon the American people for the past month. It is a sad state of affairs. And, that ties back to General CQ Brown. He could have mobilized the military against the administration and I feel like that is why he was fired, not necessarily the DEI slash.
